Elevator Scheduling Tips

As there are only two service elevators at Harbor Point, only one elevator may be used for moving and deliveries at any given time. Use of the service elevator for moving and deliveries (requiring more than one trip from the loading dock to your unit) must be scheduled in advance with the management office.

Elevator time must be scheduled for deliveries, including delivery of construction materials for remodeling.

History indicates that most residents move on the 1st or 15th of the month, so it is not surprising when more than one resident wants to move in or out at the same time. Individuals who do not schedule the elevator will find they may not be able to move on the day of their choice, which can lead to emotional and financial consequences. It is recommended that you place your request early.

Elevators are scheduled through the Management Office. Moving is permitted Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Moving is not permitted on weekends or holidays.

The service elevator doors are 3 1/2 feet wide and 7 feet high. The interiors are 9 feet high with a floor measuring 63 inches by 60 inches.
